The lawful basis for processing CCTV footage is legitimate interests, specifically:

- Ensuring public and employee safety

- Protecting property and assets

Clear signage is displayed at all CCTV-monitored locations. Signs include:

- Notification of CCTV usage

- Purpose of surveillance

A DPIA has been conducted to assess risks associated with CCTV usage and ensure proportionality and necessity.

Wellington and Waterloo Services Limited (WWSL) is registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) and has paid the applicable data protection fee.
